The Allurion Programme combines the innovative Elipse Gastric Balloon with a comprehensive digital coaching programme. The balloon is swallowed as a capsule — without endoscopy, without anaesthesia and without any procedure.
Patients receive a smartwatch and an app to monitor steps, sleep and other health data. A nutritionist and a doctor accompany the patient throughout the entire 6-month programme.
After 16 weeks, the balloon dissolves on its own and is passed naturally. The coaching programme continues for a further 8 weeks to consolidate the new habits.
